Higher National Technical Education Certificate (HNTEC) in Computer Networking

The Higher National Technical Education Certificate (HNTec) in Computer Networking programme is designed for students who wish to gain knowledge and skills in Computer Networking. It aims to prepare students as skilled workers in the area of Computer Networking. The programme equips graduates for job opportunities such as Network Technicians, Junior Network Administrators, Junior Network Security and Field Technicians in industries and organisations.
Entry Requirements
To gain entry into HNTec in Computer Networking programme, students must fulfil the minimum entry requirement of a GCE `O`/IGCSE level as follows:
- CREDIT (1 -6) / (A-C) in Mathematics or Additional Mathematics or IGSCE Mathematics.
- PASS (1 - 8) / (A-D) in English or IGSCE English as a second language or Literature in English.
- CREDIT (1 - 6) / (A-C) in Computer Science or Physics or Combined Science or Business Studies or Commerce or Chemistry or IGCSE Information and Communication Technology / Computing.
