Kolej International Graduate Studies

Around 130 participants including lecturers, staff and students are joining the marching at the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien marking the country’s 33rd National Day. The marching was led by KIGS Registrar, Pg Aziz bin Pg Hj Sabtu. Among enthusiastic participants during the momentous celebration - it was further enlivened with the participation of youths from the first batch of Certificate of Electronic Media (CEMP) and Certificate in Art and Design (CAD) and KIGS Student’s Council. One of CEMP students, Ak Azeez Danial of CEMP 1601 shared that following this year’s theme of the National Day, ‘Accomplishing the National Vision’, youths who will be the country’s future leaders will put more effort in achieving the national vision, and for they need to be educated, competitive, dynamic, ambitious, and productive. Meanwhile, Sibgha Ahmad from Faculty of Business said “Observing the immense amount of unity, excitement and passion during the parade was quite an experience. The profound amount of respect the Bruneian people have for their leader and country cannot be budged come rain or shine, literally! I'm very happy I got to witness it during my time here" Hanif Hanafiah, one of the member of Student Council also shared his thoughts, “I feel there’s a room for improvement in terms of patriotism. We as students who took part must feel proud of our contribution because Brunei is our home. We must be proud to be Bruneian!”
