IN THE spirit of showing love and appreciation to His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 50th anniversary of the Accession to the Throne, staff members of Kolej International Graduate Studies (KIGS) participated in the Golden Jubilee celebration yesterday. “We are very proud to be His Majesty’s subjects and take pride on His Majesty’s wise leadership for the past 50 years that has seen many developments not only in economy and social, but also in education with quite a number of higher institutions both public and private established such as Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali, Universiti Teknologi Brunei, Laksamana College of Business, Cosmopolitan College of Commerce and Technology and KIGS,” said Haji Hasnul bin Hamdani, the Head of Multimedia of KIGS. He added that as subjects of His Majesty, they thank the benevolent monarch for the contributions in the field of education. “On behalf of KIGs staff and students, may Allah the Almighty bless His Majesty and the royal family.”
